Récemment je fréquente aux champs de colza tous les jours.
C’est une chose très importante d’être sur les lieux pour moi.
J’ai peint directement “Les champs de colza 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 et 25” aux champs.
Je vois beaucoup les champs, je les observe beaucoup et je sens bien le parfum des colzas.
このところ毎日菜の花畑に通っています。
現場にいることは、私にとってとても大切なことです。
「菜の花畑１４、１７、１８、１９、２０、２１、２２、２３、２４、２５」は、すべて現場で描きました。
たくさん観て、たくさん観察して、むせ返るようなコルザの匂いをたくさん嗅いでいます。
日本の皆様へ、コルザについて一言。
コルザってじっと観ていると中中恐ろしいです。
すごく男性的で荒々しく、野性味に富んでいます。
日本の菜の花の前に長時間座り続けたことがないので、いい加減なことは言えませんが、日本の菜の花とはずいぶん違うように感じます。
決してかわいらしいお花などではありません。
そんなコルザ（の黄色）は私にとって、２００９年は「歓喜」であり、「生きる喜び」そのものでした。
それが次第にその巨大な黄色の波と格闘している間に（実際コルザを前にした時は、相当な気迫と覚悟をもって、しっかり両足（足腰）で踏ん張って立っていないと、後ろに倒れそうになり、飲み込まれそうになります）、２０１０年となり、ここは巨大なお墓で祭壇であり、かつてこの大地で亡くなったあらゆる人の魂のために一年に一度、おそらくは一人に一本ずつ咲いて揺れている手向け花であるように感じるようになりました。
「巨大なる墓標群としてのコルザ」（仮題）として別枠でエスキースをとり、この思いをスタートさせました。
十分に「寝かせた」後、この思いはやがて絵画化されて来ると思います。
自分だけのコルザに向かって突き進んで行くだけです。

Il est le plus beau village de la région à mon avis.
大好きなサン・マルタン・ドゥ・ニジェール。
この地域で最も美しい村だと思います。
中央に小さく見えているのが、村の教会です。
